Geneva becomes the meeting point for engineers from around the world

In three years’ time, Geneva will become the major, international meeting point for engineers. Through innovative engineering solutions, the World Engineers’ Convention 2011 (WEC 2011) seeks to encourage a globally sustainable use of energy. On Friday in Brasilia, the organizers of the World Engineers’ Convention 2008 (WEC 2008) handed over the event to Switzerland.

Genf wird in drei Jahren zum grossen, internationalen Treffpunkt der Ingenieure. Mit innovativen Ingenieurlösungen will die World Engineers’ Convention 2011 (WEC 2011) zum nachhaltigen, weltumspannenden Umgang mit Energie anregen. Am Freitag haben die Verantwortlichen der World Engineers’ Convention 2008 (WEC 2008) in Brasilia den Stab an die Schweiz übergeben.

Dans trois ans, Genève deviendra le lieu de rendez-vous international des ingénieurs. Grâce à des solutions d’ingénieurs novatrices, la World Engineers’ Convention 2011 (WEC 2011) souhaite promouvoir une utilisation de l’énergie durable et universelle. Vendredi, les responsables de la World Engineers’ Convention 2008 (WEC 2008) à Brasilia ont transmis le témoin à la Suisse.
